Economic Impact Study

Approximately every five years, the port commissions an economic impact study to measure its economic influence in Clark County and the entire Pacific Northwest. The studies assist port commissioners and executives in planning the port's future. Follow this link to read the studies.

Commission Input

An essential part of the commissioners’ decision-making process is public input.  A public comment period is included as part of all regularly scheduled commission meetings which are held twice a month, and written comments submitted by mail or email are always welcome.  For comments specific to the commission policies and decisions the commission email address is:  povcommissioners@portvanusa.com.

Commission Meetings

Regular meetings of the Board of Commissioners are scheduled for the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Commission Room at the port’s administrative offices, 3103 NW Lower River Road, Vancouver.  Click here for commission agendas & minutes.

Port of Vancouver USA welcomes the M/V K. Neptune on her maiden voyage

VANCOUVER, Wash.—The Port of Vancouver USA welcomed the M/V K. Neptune commanded by Capt. Valdehueza of the Philippines, on her maiden voyage to the United States on April 18, 2012.

Valdehueza and his 22-member Philippian crew were welcomed to Vancouver by Jason Lee, port captain for SK Shipping, Nino Benedetti, superintendent for Jones Stevedoring, as well as Phil Brotherton, regional general manager and Rocky Richards on behalf of Transmarine Navigation Corp., the agent for the vessel.
