The Heathman Lodge, Sacajawea Room

The possibility of increasing the board from three to five elected commissioners was raised at the port’s regularly scheduled Jan. 9, 2018, board meeting. At the commission’s direction, staff shared information on potential requirements of a five-member board at a Feb. 13 public workshop. The commission then directed staff to organize a public meeting so they could discuss this idea with port district residents.
