Port Commission to vote on 2014 budget Tuesday
VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Port of Vancouver USA Board of Commissioners will meet Tuesday, November 12, to consider approval of the port’s 2014 budget. Open session begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Commission Room at the port’s administrative office, located at 3103 NW Lower River Road, Vancouver.
A public hearing on the port’s proposed $86,423,065 budget for 2014 will be held as part of Tuesday’s meeting. Click to view the port’s 2014 preliminary budget.
Commissioners Jerry Oliver, Brian Wolfe, and Nancy Baker adopted the port’s preliminary budget on October 22 as one of the first steps in the public process of establishing the organization’s 2014 budget. A day earlier, on October 21, the three commissioners discussed the proposed budget in detail with port staff at a half-day workshop, which was open to the public.
