Jonathan Eder

Chief Administrative Officer

Jonathan Eder was hired as the Director of Human Resources in May 2007. His responsibilities include managing all human resources functions including compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee and labor relations, organizational development, training, compliance and retirement plans. He is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

In addition to his responsibilities in Human Resources, Jonathan leads the Port of Vancouver, USA Terminal 1 development project. His role as the Executive Project Sponsor includes managing internal resources, participating in lease negotiations, managing the Terminal 1 project team, and implementing the vision of the project.

Prior to his work at the Port of Vancouver USA, Jonathan worked in Human Resources in the manufacturing, non-profit, and healthcare industries and volunteered with the Peace Corps in Guatemala. He received his bachelor’s degree in business from Southern Oregon University. He is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

In his free time, Jonathan enjoys fly fishing, surfing and woodworking.
