Port hosting workshops, open houses and updates in May, June

VANCOUVER, Wash.—No matter how you’re interested in being involved with the Port of Vancouver USA, there are several upcoming events to help you connect and be a part of the port’s present and future. All events are free and open to the public.

Strategic Plan open house #1
An informal open house where attendees can review draft strategic plan goals, talk with staff and consultants, and provide feedback.
4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 17
Fort Vancouver Red Cross Building, 605 Barnes Street, Vancouver

Terminal 1 architectural concepts Board of Commissioners workshop
A public workshop held after the regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting to share conceptual design options for a public marketplace and landscape design at Terminal 1 with the commission.
Tuesday, May 22
Board of Commissioners meeting begins at 9:30 a.m.; workshop to follow (workshops are not broadcast or streamed via CVTV)

Port Report
The fourth and final public lecture in our 2018 Lecture Series; attendees can hear a review of 2017 activities, an update on current activities and projects, and look ahead to the future of the port.

6:30 to 7 p.m. – Optional waterfront tour
