VANCOUVER, Wash. – Port of Vancouver Commissioners will host their annual Commission Forum on Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 1 – 2 p.m. The discussion of how global trade, industry and transportation investments at the port result in jobs and economic benefits for Clark County will be streamed live on Clark-Vancouver Television (CVTV). Also included in this year’s forum is a live online chat with port leadership, hosted by The Columbian newspaper from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Community members are encouraged to watch and listen to the roundtable discussion between port Commissioners Jerry Oliver, Brian Wolfe and Nancy Baker and Executive Director Todd Coleman, as they review the port’s cargo tonnage and earnings for 2012 and share their perspectives on how global trade trends affect marine and industrial business here at home. The forum will be facilitated by Lynn Valenter, vice chancellor for finance and operations at Washington State University Vancouver.
